ALMANAC

In Fall 2022 at Tufts University, Harrison Clark and I debuted “ALMANAC” a new musical work, as the Tufts Fall musical. The musical represents a three-year long musical collaboration and partnership between Harrison and I. A combination of Harrison’s individual research on black student life at Tufts, the musical legacy of black composers and performers at Tufts vis a vis legendary composer T.J Anderson, and my personal experience treading the line between artist and student served as the narrative underpinning of our thematic material. ALMANAC at Tufts centered around the central question of “What is the price of cultural and artistic agency for the Black American Artist.” To read more about our Tufts production , click here. Further updates with regards to this will be posted here.
